Fairmount CollegeComprises the following Departments and Schools: I. Fairmount College (proper) with three courses of study: The Classical, Scientific, Literary, each leading up to its own appropriate "degree." II. Fairmount Academy, with courses of study preparatory for and leading up to the College classes. III. Fairmount Normal School, for the professional training of teachers. IV. Department of the fine arts, affording first-class facilities for instruction and training in all branches of Free Hand Drawing and Painting, Oil, Water Color, landscape, Marine, Portrait, China and Decorative Painting generally. V. School of Music, affiliated with the Sickner Conservatory of Music of Wichita, and affording all the advantages for a good musical education offered by that established and well-known Institution. VI. Business Department. Hereafter the College year will include for terms: a summer term of six weeks, following the annual commencement after an interval of two weeks, designed especially for teachers. After the present year the College will offer courses in Chemistry, Botany, Biology, and Entomology, as applied to agriculture. Faculty for 1898-9Nathan J. Morrison, D.D. LL. D.,
