THEODOR ARENS, saloon, Luxemburg; he was born in Luxemburg, Germany, March 30, 1846; in 1850, he came to Jackson Co.; in 1872, he came to Dubuque Co.; he owns twenty-eight acres of land, with his house, barn, etc. Married Mrs. Goebel in 1872; she was born in Luxemburg, Germany; have two children-Nick and Ernst. She has four children by a former marriage-Henry,Antony,Katie and Peter. Catholic. pg.954
